Bandung, May 8, 2024 – The Research Center for Information and Communication Technology, Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), has been invited by Lembaga Pengembangan Inovasi dan Kewirausahaan (LPIK) ITB to participate in the ERIA-Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) Joint Workshop on Cybersecurity and Autonomous Vehicles.
Opening remarks by Prof. Reini Wirahadikusumah, Ph.D., Rector of ITB, and Mr. Koji Hachiyama, Chief Operating Officer of ERIA. This workshop was held on Wednesday, 8 May 2024, at the Multipurpose Room, CRCS Building 3rd floor, located on Jalan Ganesa 10, Bandung, from 09.00 to 16.00.
This event is part of the collaborative program between ITB and ERIA (the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia). The workshop consisted of three sessions, as follows:
- Discussion for ASEAN Digital Economy Framework Agreement (DEFA) Negotiations, related to the Cybersecurity Issues.
- Cybersecurity Policy in ASEAN
- The Issue of Autonomous Vehicles, and Development of Automotive Sector in Indonesia and ASEAN
The workshop provided a forum for experts and stakeholders to discuss and exchange ideas on critical issues related to cybersecurity and the development of autonomous vehicles in the ASEAN region. It aimed to foster collaboration and address challenges in these rapidly evolving fields.
